Weekly Hours is set to zero when importing Employee IIF in Reckon Accounts

ISSUE

When importing an Employee IIF file to your Reckon Accounts Company File, the Weekly Hours are updated to 0:00 (Time format: Minutes) or 0.00 (Time format: Decimal).

This may also affect the Leave Details fields such as- Hours available, Hours Used, and Hours Accrued.

CAUSE

The IIF file was opened in a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel and the value i.e. 38:00:00 is automatically converted into a Date format.

WORKAROUND

Use General Format with a Decimal value.

Example where the format is <hours:minutes:seconds>:

1. 40:00:00 = 40
2. 37:30:00 = 37.5
