Data file is corrupt when verifying a newly created EasyStart company file

I have just created a new company file and when I verify it, it tells me that the file is corrupt. What do I do?
Answer
This error is likely to happen if you created the file with the Sole Trader option.
Workaround
Rebuild the datafile.
