Question
Why are my scheduled automatic backups not created if I do not have a Windows User Account password?Answer
This will occur if your Windows User Account has a blank password. Scheduled tasks require a password in order for the backup to be created.
To resolve this;
- From the Start menu, select Control Panel
- Double click User Accounts
- Select the User Account you want to add a password to and click Create a Password
- Follow the on-screen instructions to create the password
Note: You will be required to restart your computer for the changes to take affect.
