Why does my estimate preview show the cost of the item, in the rate column?

Legacy KB ID: 1101

Question

Why does my estimate preview show the cost of the item, in the rate column?

When I enter an estimate, I want to include an item with a zero quantity, when I print the estimate, it prints my Buy price rather than my Sell price.

Answer

This happens when you have items with zero quantity on your estimate.

To solve this-

-In the Estimate change the cost column to display either $0.00 or the Sell price, this will then appear on the printed estimate.

Note: This change must be made manually each time an estimate is created.
