Reckon Accounts: You have accounts which are setup for Online Account Access but are currently not enabled error

When I try to access the Online Banking Centre, I get the error: "You have accounts which are setup for Online Account Access but are not currently enabled". Why is this occurring?

Reason:

The reason for this error is because you either have set the Bank Account as Inactive, or have included an APCA number in your Online Bank Details when none should exist.

Solution:

Make sure you untick "Account is Inactive" checkbox in the bottom-left-hand corner of the Online Bank Details section.

If you have included an APCA number when you have not been issued one by your bank in particular, you will need to remove this as well.

Afterwards, you should have no issues accessing your Online Banking Centre.

Step by Step:
  1. Go to your Lists drop-down, and select "Chart of Accounts".
You can also press Control + A on your keyboard, or go through Accounting > Chart of Accounts, or Company > Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find your Bank Account with Online Account Access. You should be able to identify it by the little lightning bolt icon to the right of its name.
  3. Right-click the Bank Account, and select "Edit Account".
  4. Select "Online Bank Details".
  5. In the bottom-left-hand corner, untick the box that states "Account is Inactive".
If it is already unticked, do not tick this box.
  6. Remove the APCA number.
  7. Press "Save & Close".

You should now be able to select the Online Banking Centre without issue.
