Bank Transfer to an Online Bank Account does not appear in Send section of the Online Banking Centre

Question

Why doesn’t my bank transfer to an online bank account appear in the Online Banking Centre for me to include in my ABA file?

Answer

Online Banking features are not available for the Bank Transfer

 

Workaround

Process the transfer as a Write Cheque:

1.    Banking > Write Cheque

2.    For the Bank, select the bank the funds are coming from.

3.    In Expenses, select the bank the funds are going to

4.    Select the Bank Online option

Your ‘transfer’ will now appear in the Online Banking Centre for inclusion in the ABA file.
