GST not calculated on amounts above $18 million

Legacy KB ID: 5235

Question

Why doesn’t Accounts Business calculate the correct amount of GST for amounts greater than $18,000,000.00?  The tax for $18 million is applied to all amounts above this level.

Answer

Break up the one-line entry into multiple lines so that each line amount is no more than $18 million.

The Issue

Workaround 1:  Enter items as Net

Untick the box: Amounts include tax, at the bottom of the form.

Workaround 2: Split the transaction into multiple lines so that each line is not greater than $18 million.
