When opening Books the screen size jumps from 16bit colour to a low 8bit colour.

Why can't I see Reckon Accounts clearly when it starts up?

This is due to Reckon Accounts being set to run in 256 colour mode in the shortcut properties.

To fix this;

1) Right click on the Reckon Accounts shortcut icon and select 'Properties'.

2) Click on the 'Compatibility' tab.

3) Under the heading 'Display Settings' untick the 'Run in 256 colors' box.

4) Click OK to save these changes.

Reckon Accounts will now open to suit the users desktop settings.
