Out of Balance warning when adjusting a previous Adjust QTY/Value on hand transaction

Question

Why can’t I save the adjustment to a previous Adjust QTY/Value on Hand transaction?  I keep getting the error: Transaction out of balance.

Answer

You will get this error if you adjust the quantity only on an existing Adjust QTY/Value on Hand transaction.

You must also tick the Value Adjustment tick box in the bottom left of the form.
