Upload failed error in Internet Explorer.

Question

I’m unable to upload anything into Hosted when using Internet Explorer. The file upload begins but does not completes and gives the “Upload Failed” error message. However, the upload works fine when using other browsers such as chrome or Firefox.

Answer

Add the Reckon Account Hosted’s URL in the Trusted sites zones

Detailed steps.

It appears the for some reason, IE is not recognising Accounts Hosted's URL as trusted and therefore giving an error on file upload.

Add the hosted to the trusted sites from IE settings as below instructions:

1. Login to the hosted.

2. Go to the Tools icon on top right corner.

3. Select Internet Options..

4. Go to Security Tab.

5. Select Trusted sited (green Tick icon) as shown below.

6. Click on Sites. The Hosted URL will be automatically populated there. If not add it. https://hosted-connectv82.reckon.com

7. Click on Add to add it to the trusted sites list.

8. Log off from the Hosted and restart the Internet Explorer and try again.

You should now be able to upload the file again.
