Ref No does not update when Inventory Adjustment form opened

Question

Why doesn’t the Ref No update when I start a new Inventory Adjustment form?

 

Answer

Select your Inventory Adjustment account and the Ref No will update.

 

The Issue

When you first open the Adjust Quantity/Value on Hand form it retains the Ref No from the last entry.

You cannot save this form unless you select an Inventory Adjustment account.

When an Inventory Adjustment account is selected the Ref No will update.

 

Workaround

Select an Inventory Adjustment account.
