Printout of Employee Bank Account details from Reckon Accounts

Question

How can I get a printout of my employee’s bank details from Reckon Accounts?

Answer

Reckon Accounts does not provide a report to display all bank account details of employees.

Export the Employee List to an IIF file and modify the IIF file to display just the bank details.

  

Workaround

1.    Export the Employee List:

File > Utilities > Export > Lists to IIF > tick Employees > OK

Name and save the file to a convenient location on your computer – e.g. Desktop.

2.    Open the IIF file with Excel:

Right click the file on the Desktop > Open With > Excel

3.    Bank details appear in columns BQ through to CE (3 banks accounts), with fields:

AccntName

AccntNo

BkName

SbCode

SplitAmt

4.    Delete columns not required (last column is HB)

5.    Format to desired style.
