Legacy KB ID: 1704

Question

How to I remove the Australian Tax Total field on my invoice?

Answer

If running multi-currency and your Tax invoice shows total in foreign currency as well as Home currency and you don't want to show this field on the print out. Do the following;

Note! Applying this fix will effect all invoices using this template. You should have one template per currency type. Always make a backup of the company file prior to applying a fix.
  1. Display the list of templates; choose the Lists menu and choose Templates
  2. Click the invoice template you intend to modify (the template used to print invoices to foreign customers)
  3. Click the Template button and choose Edit
  4. Click Layout Designer button.
  5. Select the field you would like to remove by clicking on one field at a time. The fields you need to remove are the 'Tax Total' and 'Total' and their corresponding Australian dollar amounts.
  6. Right click this field and select 'Properties'.
  7. Click the colour button to change the text colour to white and click Ok.
  8. Select the Border tab and untick the 'Top', 'Bottom', 'Left' and 'Right' fields.
  9. Click Ok to apply these changes.

These fields will no longer appear on the printer invoices.
