Portal: Unable to modify user because R1 Request Failed

Question:

• Getting an error: Unable to modify user because R1 Request Failed

This happens when you want to add an extra module to the book.

At some stage, you would have purchased a Reckon One book but never went into the book and set it up or skipped the book setup wizard.

Solution:

You need to set up the Reckon One book first before you can purchase or add an extra module.

Steps:

1. Launch Reckon One from the Portal.

2. The Book Setup will pop up. Enter company details and then click Done.

If you do not see the Book Setup, you may go to Cogwheel>Settings> Book Settings.

3. Once finished. Click the CogWheel located at the top right of the screen and select Subscription & billing which will take you to the Portal site.

4. On the Portal. go to the book created, click the Ellipsis > Settings> Customize your Reckon One Module, and continue with the purchase. It should now allow you to add a Module.
