First pay in new financial year includes YTD from previous financial year.

Legacy KB ID: 5405

Question

Why is the first pay of the new financial year including the YTD figures of the previous financial year in Payroll Premier?  The paid date is this financial year.

Answer

In the Employee’s History tab click on Edit pay.

The Issue

The payroll YTD figures have failed to refresh for the new financial year.  Refreshing the pay will reset the YTD figures.

Detailed Instruction

  1. Go to Employees list and double click on the first Employee

  2. Go to History tab and select the latest pay and click on Edit;

  3. Tick Edit this pay and click OK;

  4. Click OK again to close the Employee Card;

Print a payslip and you will now see the correct YTD.

If the YTD has not refreshed, then repeat the process, but as you Edit the pay (Step 3 above), change the Date paid to a later date and change it back.

Repeat for each employee affected.
