QBwin.log error: QBAdminGroup.abmc_current_users: Run time SQL error -- %1

Question

When I verify my file and examine the QBwin.log file I find the error:  Verify failed and Qbwin.log has this error message: CHECKPOINT: (date time stamp) Database validation completed, Errors found: 1 : QBAdminGroup.abmc_current_users: Run time SQL error %1.  What do I do to correct it?

Answer

The data file is damaged.

Solution

Create and restore a portable company file may resolve the issue. 

If this does not resolve the issue, then restore your last valid backup then:

1      Create and restore a portable company file

2      Rebuild the file then Verify the file

3      Examine the QBwin.log file and ensure the error does not appear

4      Re-input transactions entered since the last valid backup was made.
