Payroll Premier: Enable Leave Loading/Holiday Loading to be included in Super calculations

Legacy KB ID: 5741

Question

Payroll Premier does not automatically enable Leave Loading/Holiday Loading to be included in Super calculations.

Calculating Super on Holiday Loading is up to the user's discretion.

If you require Holiday Loading to attract Super, there are two different options to achieve this. Please find them below with screenshots.

Answer

There's a few different ways to enable Leave Loading.

Option 1:

  1. Open an employee's paycheque.
  2. Click the Super tab. Under the Amount column, enter the desired super value.
  3. Under the "%/$" column change this to $.

Option 2:

  1. Create a new pay rate called Leave Loading
  1. Edit the relevant employees record in the Leave tab and remove the leave loading value
  1. Add the Annual Leave pay rate item as normal. Include the Leave Loading item you created
