View customer invoice history in Reckon One

Learn how to view and add notes to the history of a customer invoice. Invoice history and notes allow you to keep a record of important information relating to specific invoices, and do not appear on the invoice that gets sent to the customer. 

This feature is available on all accounting and Reckon Ultimate plans.

View invoice history

To view the history of changes made to an invoice (including attachments):

  1. In the Day to day menu, select Invoices.
  2. Click on the invoice.
  3. Click on the Actions menu (3 dots), then click View history.
  4. (Optional) Turn on the Notes only toggle if you wish to only see notes and no other events in the invoice history.

Add a note to the invoice history

Notes can be added to invoice history, so those viewing invoices in Reckon One can see important information relating to the invoice. Notes do not appear on the invoice when it gets sent to the customer.  

To add a note to the invoice history: 

  1. In the Day to day menu, select Invoices.
  2. Click on the invoice. 
  3. Click on the Actions menu (3 dots) then click View history.  
  4. Click Add note
  5. Type the note in the field provided. 
  6. Click Save note
