Company logo appears a black block, blurry or low quality on emailed invoices
Legacy KB ID: 4836
UPDATE 03 March 2025
If your logo isn’t showing, the image might be in JFIF format, even though it appears as a .JPG file. Try opening it in an image editor (like MS Paint or Photoshop) and re-save it as a standard JPG.

Question
Why does my company logo appear as:
- A black block on emailed invoice
OR
- Blurry on emailed invoices
OR
- Low quality on emailed invoices
Printed invoices and screen views show the company logo perfectly.
Answer
You may encounter this problem if your company logo picture file is large or uses a rich format as the file type.
Workaround
To have the best quality logo to display on emailed invoices on Reckon Accounts Hosted we recommend that the logo is no more than 100kb in size. It is preferable to use the JPG picture format instead of PNG.
