Why do I get "The posting account is invalid" when I post End of Day to Reckon Accounts?

Question

When posting an End of Day file from Point of Sale, why do I get "The posting account is invalid"?

Answer

You will get this error if the End-of-Day file contains payment with a voucher and the account linked to the Voucher item is not a cheque or Other Current Asset type of account.
