What is Reckon Invoices mobile app?

Reckon Invoices is the companion mobile app for your Reckon One books. Prefect for small businesses who are always on the move, Reckon Invoices app allows you to create and send invoices to your clients from your mobile devices so you can get paid sooner for the work. Not only can you create new invoices, you can also access all of the past invoices, customers, contacts, items, receipts created in Reckon One.

You need to have Reckon account and an active Reckon One book with Invoice module in order to use the Reckon Invoices app.

To download Reckon Invoices app, scan the QR code or click on a link below to go to the Apple App store or Google Play store listing.


Sign in to Reckon Invoice app

You need to have a Reckon account and have an active Reckon One book with Invoice module in order to sign in to the Reckon Invoices app.

If you've have a Reckon Portal account you'll want to Login to the app. If not, Create an Account.
Login
  1. Tap Reckon Invoices icon from the home screen after you have installed.
  2. Tap Sign in with email button

  1. Enter the email address and password you used to sign in to Reckon Portal and tap Sign in button. If you do not remember your password, tap Forgot password then enter your email address. We will send you an email with a link to reset your password.
  2. If you have bio-metrics or Face ID enabled on your mobile device, Reckon Invoice app will ask if you want to use it to sign in with bio-metrics next time instead of using email and password. You can enable or disable it later in the Settings area.
  3. The Dashboard will appear after you have sign in to the Reckon. If you have multiple Reckon One books with Invoice modules, then it will open to the Book Switcher.
    Books with Invoices Lite modules will be tagged with a (Lite) label next to the book name.

Create an account (iOS only)

If this is your first time using a Reckon Product, you'll need to create a new Reckon Account. Simply enter your name, email address, contact number and type a new password you'd like to use for the account. We'd recommend where possible using a professional rather than a personal email account.

Steps

  1. First, enter your first name and last name.
  2. Next, enter the email address you'd like to create an account with.
  3. Followed by your contact number.
  4. Lastly, enter your desired password while taking care.
  5. Then tap Continue.
Forgotten password

Don't worry if you've forgotten your password. Just tap the Forgotten password link. This will open up the Reckon Portal website in a new browser tab, and from there you can recover your account via email and set a new password. Once you're done, just come back into the app and login again with your new password. Easy.

3. Biometrics (Face/Touch ID)

What is Biometrics?

Using biometrics gives you a quick, easy way to protect and unlock the app when you come back.

The biometric option available to you depends on your device - For the most recent iPhones it'll be FaceID, and for slightly older models you'll find its TouchID (fingerprint). Options on Android devices vary greatly between make and model, with fingerprint biometrics the most common. Some older devices may not have the option to use biometrics.

To protect your data, if biometrics are incorrectly given several times in a row you'll be logged out of the app. Don't worry - all app data is stored securely and remotely - you'll just need to login with your email address and password again.

If you change your mind about using or not using biometrics, you can alway set it up again later in the app's Settings.

Steps

  1. Either tap the toggle switch to enable FaceID, TouchID, or whatever other biometrics your device support.
  2. Next, you will be asked to verify with your face or finger that it really is you, just like you would to unlock your phone or make a purchase. Easy.
Business details

Once you have created a Reckon account using the app you will need to set up a book by entering some business details.

Steps

  1. First, enter your book name.
  2. Next, select the entity type for your business.
  3. If you wish you can select an industry for your business from a predefined list of accounts.
  4. Next select your when the month of your businesses Financial year start.
  5. Lastly select if you are Registered for tax.
  6. Then tap Next.
Subscription

Use of the app requires a paid subscription which can be purchased from within the app using Apple's App Store.

Steps

  1. Select Subscribe now.
  2. Confirm your purchase.

The Dashboard for the book you created will appear after you have successfully subscribed.
