figure at the bottom of the Tax Liability report for purchases and sales
figure at the bottom of the Tax Liability report for purchases and sales
Legacy KB ID: 2075
Question
At the bottom of the tax liability report there are two figures. One is labelled 'Total Net value of purchases' (ex Tax) and the other 'Total Net value of sales' (ex taxes). Any figures appearing against these lines are made up of all transactions which have an Input tax Code applied to them (i.e. NCI or CAI for purchases)
On accrual basis, the report allows the user to zoom in on any figure on the report. When on an accrual basis, if any figure appearing on one of these lines at the bottom is double-clicked on, a Tax QuickZoom report appears. This report does not have any figures in it at all.
The reason for this is that the QuickZoom report is filtered by default to look at only the WET tax codes (WC, WET and WEG)
Answer
The reason for this is that the QuickZoom report is filtered by default to look at only the WET tax codes (WC, WET and WEG)
When You are in the report, click on Customise and select all the tax codes. This will then produce a report with all of the transactions.
