One or two shares are not being updated by the One Step Update

Question

Why don’t one or two of my shares get updated when I run One Step Update?  The shares are active.

Answer

You will experience this issue if you add a share on the Watch List only, then at a later time you buy the share and untick it from the Watch List.  The share prices will not update. 

When buying a stock that was previously only on your Watch List, do not remove it from your Watch List. 

Workaround

On the Portfolio page of the Investing tab, right click your security and select Add to watch list.
