Student Loan and Child Support Payments not included in the Taxes column of the Review and Create Payment Screen

Question

Why aren’t the Student Loan and Child Support payments included in the Taxes column of the Review and Create Payment Screen?  These amounts are paid to the IRD together with PAYE.  How can I verify that the correct amount has been entered for each employee before I proceed with the payments?

Answer

Student Loans and Child Support are not PAYE taxes even though they are collected by the IRD. 

Consideration is being given to additional columns for a future release.

There is no workaround to review before payment.  To review after payment, run a Payroll Item Detail Report and select the last pay only.
