Question

Why can’t I make inactive customers active again?

Normally Reckon Accounts Business allows you to make the inactive customers active, simply by unticking the option ‘Job is Inactive’ or ‘customers is inactive’.

However, I’m unable to select that option to make customer active again, as it is greyed out.

How can I make the customer Job active again?

Answer

Who does this applies to: This condition is applicable to all Reckon Accounts Business products.

Solution:

This situation is by design. It happens if the customer/Job is the sub customer/Job of the parent customer and if that parent customer/job is inactive.

You will have to make the Parent Customer active to be able to individually make the sub customer active again.
