I have upgraded to the latest version of Payroll but my Tax Scales didn't update.

Question

I have upgraded to the latest version of Payroll but my Data File which is located on a Network Drive still uses the old tax scales. Why?

Answer

This can occur when the Tax Scales haven't been copied across to the Network Drive that the Data File resides on.

To resolve this;

1) Select File > Setup Network Data Path.

2) Untick 'Use Existing Files Located At The Server Path'.

3) Untick 'Copy Data Files To Network Path'.

   The only option now selected should be 'Copy Tax Scales and Reports to Network Path'.

4) Click 'Save'.

The Tax Scale list will now contain the updated tax scales.
