Black Blocks or Bars across Reckon Accounts Personal Range

Question

Why do various fields in Reckon Accounts Personal range appear blackened out or surrounded by black blocks?

Answer

Select a non-high-contrast theme

The Issue

When a high-contrast theme is selected for your Windows 10 desktop, Reckon Accounts Personal will display black blocks around fields and option selections, and possibly black bars across the screen.

Workaround

Change your Desktop Theme to a non-high-contrat theme.

1. Close Reckon accounts Personal range;
2. Go to Control Panel> All Control Panel Items > Personalization
   1. (or type themes in the search box and select Change my Theme)
   2. (or, Shift+Alt+PrtScrn)
3. Select a non-high-contrast theme;
4. Close the Control Panel.

Launch Reckon Accounts Personal and all fields and buttons will appear normal.
