Question

Why is part of the Reckon Accounts Hosted screen black?

Answer

Disable the Color Enhancer extension.

 

The issue

The chrome color Enhancer is an extension to assist colour-blind users experience the colour on the screen better.

Its programming conflicts with the Hosted display through the Chrome browser.

 

Steps to disable the Chrome Color Enhancer

  1. Logout of Reckon Account Hosted

  2. Close all Chrome tabs and return to the Google home page.

  3. In the Address Bar, type in chrome://plugins/

  4. Scroll down your list of plugins to Color Enhancer and click on Disable;

  5. Return to the Chrome Home Page.

Launch Reckon Accounts Hosted and you should see it display fully.
