Reckon Personal range was unable to store required information when installing

Question

Why won’t My personal range software accept my installation key?  I get the error:

“Reckon was unable to store required information”.

Answer

The Registration file is corrupt.

 

Workaround

Close Reckon accounts Personal and delete the Quicken.lic file:

·         Windows 10 & 8 :  C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Quicken\Config\quicken.lic

 

Now try entering the Installation Keycode again.
