BankData: Details on ANZ Direct Feed Setup

How can I go about setting up ANZ in Reckon BankData?

Explanation:

Setting up a Direct Feed in ANZ has two specific sections that must be setup. This article will break it into the Reckon section and the ANZ section.

Reckon BankData:
This is applicable to both BankData Fast Coding for Hosted and Reckon One: BankData.
  1. In Bank Feed Management, click on "Add Feed".
  2. In the "Find Bank" section, under "Popular Banks", select "ANZ", and click "Next".
  3. Enter in your Account Name, BSB, and Account Number.
  4. Note down your Primary ID from the popup that appears.
Do not lose this Primary ID as it is required for the ANZ setup.
ANZ:
These instructions have been provided by ANZ themselves. As such, if any updates have occurred to their web layout, this may not be 100% accurate, and you should contact the ATO for assistance.
  1. Login to your ANZ Internet Banking area.
  2. Go to "Profile", and select "Manage bank feeds".
    1. If this is your first time creating a Bank Feed, select "Get started".
    2. If you have made a feed previously and wish to add in a new ANZ feed, select "Activate a new bank feed".
  3. It will require your Primary ID attained from Reckon BankData Step 4, listed above.
  4. Once this has been created, your feed will activate and begin attaining feeds.

Troubleshooting:

If you do not receive BankData Feeds wthin 7 working days, ensure the following:

  1. Check your Bank Feed in ANZ has the correct Primary ID.
  2. Check your BankData section and ensure your Bank Name, BSB, and Bank Number is a accurate to your ANZ Bank Account.
  3. If you have an MFA, ensure that you authenticate your BankData per month/3 months. You will see a red key icon under the "Actions" section. You can click this to reauthenticate.
  4. Failing this, you may need to delete the feed, and recreate it with ANZ. This will not remove your Bank Transactions, as ANZ keeps records of this on their end.
