Question

Why doesn’t my Senor Receipt Printer show on Windows Devices?

I cannot use the receipt printer for Reckon Desktop POS. 

Answer

Although the Senor Receipt Printer is the standard for Reckon Retail POS, the Senor printer needs additional configuration to work with Reckon software.

The Senor Receipt Printer sold by Reckon in the Retail POS Starter Kit has had the additional configuration.

The same Senor Receipt Printer purchased elsewhere will not have this additional configuration and will not create the virtual COM port. 

Workaround

As this is not a Reckon-specific issue, technical support will not be able to assist.
