Reckon Desktop POS: Messaging system not working

Question
I’m getting an error message, ‘POS Messaging system not working’ and unable to start POS terminal. How can I fix it?
This issue occurs on POS Terminal. It is not allowing POS Terminal to start.
Solution / Workaround:
- Restart POS Terminal PC and try again.
- If the problem persists, please continue.
- Go to the local installation directory for the POS terminal.
- Locate the below 3 files and double click on it to run:
- rebootCommonFiles.bat
- rebootSystem.bat
- rebootTerm.bat
- Try opening the terminal again.
