Question

Why can’t I email my remittance advice? I get the error:

Reckon Accounts has detected an email connectivity issue when attempting to email the remittance advice.  Please try again. 

Answer

You can encounter this error on sending any form or report by email. 

The error stems from the email field for the supplier or customer containing a string that is not an email address.  It may be a person’s name or a phone number.

 

Workaround

Ensure the Supplier and Customer email fields contain valid email addresses only.  Remove any names and phone numbers.
