Error (-1,0) opening an upgraded Reckon Accounts company file for the first time

Question
Why can’t I open my company file after upgrading to the latest version? I get the error (-1,0).
Answer
The error indicates that the upgrade process did not complete successfully, with a required field not being created in your upgraded company file
Please call Technical Support for further directions.
In most cases you will need to send your company file to Data Recovery for repair.
