Why when I enter my registration number received from Quicken I get the following error message? "The registration number you entered is invalid."

Answer

There are two areas that could be causing this problem;

1) Check your system’s clock for the correct date and time, if not then this should be adjusted.

2) Windows drive label; Quicken requires the label of the hard drive or partition where the operating system is installed to be less then 18 characters long. To check this; Double click on My Computer icon on the desktop, locate the drive where Windows operating system is installed (by default this would be C drive). See Windows help for more info on renaming.
