You dont have permission to request bank feeds ….. error after creating a new Yodlee feed.

Question

Why do I get the error:

Getting Transaction summary error.

You don’t have permission to request bank feeds for this account.  Please check the Branch code, Account Number or YodleeID in the Bank Account set-up.

After replacing my existing Yodlee connection with a new connection to the same financial institution?

Answer

Update the Yodlee ID field on the Online Bank Details tab of your bank ledger account.

 

The Issue

When you replace an existing Yodlee Connection you get a fresh connection with a new YodleeID.  You need to use this new number in the online bank details tab of your bank ledger account

 

Workaround

View your new Yodlee ID :

1.    From the confirmation email;

2.    On the website: bankdata@reckon.com

In your company file:

1.    Lists > Chart of Accounts

2.    Right click your bank account and select Edit Account

3.    Click on the Online Bank Details tab

4.    In the YodleeID field, enter your new Yodlee ID.

5.    Save.

Now download your transactions.
