Why can't I add my ABN to my Statement Template.

Question

How do I add my ABN to my statement template? When I edit my template there is no field for ABN?

Answer

To add an ABN to the Statement template you can either edit your Company Address through Company Information and add the ABN to the bottom of the address;

  1. Click on the Company menu then choose Company information.

  2. Type you ABN on the bottom of your company address.

Note; this will make the ABN appear twice on other forms which you have added the ABN field information to display. See "customising forms, company name and address" in the QuickBooks help file.

The preferred solution is to add a text field to the statement template and add your ABN infomation to that. See "customising forms" in the QuickBooks help file.
