Question

Why do I get the message to ‘Switch To / Retry’ when printing a sales receipt for a transaction on a Retail POS Terminal?

Answer

The ‘Switch To/Retry’ error has been reported by users of the Epson TM-T20 receipt printer.  The driver this receipt printer was released with, ver 7.10a, has been updated to patch a reported problem.  Updating to this driver (ver 7.20a) eliminates the issue.

 

Workaround

Close Retail Point of Sale Terminal.

Update your Epson TM-T20 printer driver to the latest release (ver 7.20a) from the Epson website at:  https://download.epson-biz.com/modules/pos/index.php?page=soft&scat=36

How did we do?

POS doesn't summarize payments when exporting to Reckon Accounts. How do I get around this?
