PAYGI information (5A field) from BAS Lodgement form does not appear in GovConnect

Question

Why doesn’t my Pay As You Go Instalment amount, 5A field on the BAS Lodgement form, appear in GovConnect?

Answer

This is a ‘refresh’ issue.  The information does not display initially, but after you have gone to another tab and come back, the information will appear. 

A typical pattern for viewing this information is:

1.    Receive the message that data has been imported successfully;

2.    Go to the PAYG income tab and see that 5A has the correct amount, but that amount has not been included in the 8A field;

3.    Go to the Summary tab and see that the 5A field is 0 and the 8A field has now adjusted not to include the 5A field;

 

Workaround

This is a ‘refresh’ issue.  The information does not display initially, but after you have gone to another tab and come back, the information will appear. 

1.    Return to the PAYG Income tab and 5A and 8A fields should display correctly

2.    Go to the Summary tab again and the 5A and 8A fields should display correctly.

 

Note:  If you go directly to the Summary tab without visiting other tabs, 5A and 8A fields will appear correctly.
