Upgrade datafile Combined Tax Codes; Error C=343

Question

Why, after upgrading to the latest version of Reckon Accounts, when I attempt to edit a combined tax code, I receive error C=343?

Answer

You're need to refresh your tax code list. To do this you must import the standard tax codes back into your datafile.

1. Choose the File menu and click on Utilities > Import > Import IIF Files.
2. Navigate to the directory where Reckon Accounts is installed, in most cases this should be C:\Program Files\Intuit\Reckon Accounts 20**
3. Locate the file taxoz.iif and click on Open.
4. Click OK on the dialogue box that appears.
