How do I print reports across a single page?

Question

When I print certain reports they don't fit onto one page. How can I get them to only be one page wide so that they look more professional?

Answer

Some of the reports you print from Reckon Accounts will be too wide to fit on a single page. This document offers three solutions to getting your reports to print across a single page.

- Fit to one page wide

- Printing in landscape

- Adjusting column widths

Fit to one page wide

This option is useful when a report is slightly wider than one page. Reckon Accounts reduces the size of the printed text so that all the columns can appear on one page.

1.Display the report.

2.When the report is onscreen, either choose Print Report from the File menu or click the Print button.

3.Click Fit To One Page Wide to scale the report so that all the columns fit across a single page.

Printing in landscape

This option is useful when a report has many columns, such as a profit and loss by month or a payroll report.

1.Display the report.

2.When the report is onscreen, either choose Print Report from the File menu or click on the Print button.

3.Click Landscape to print the report in landscape orientation.

Adjusting column widths

Reducing the width of a column(s) also increases the printable area of the report. Dragging the small diamond at the right of the column header toward the left makes the column narrower.
