How to modify your Fonts on different Forms in Reckon Accounts Hosted

The default fonts used in Reckon Accounts are the following:

  • Arial Bold (TrueType)
  • Arial (TrueType)
  • Times New Roman (TrueType)
  • Courier New (TrueType)


When updating the Font selection, it would display a blank entry, which is indicative of an unavailable font.


There are five sections in Reckon Accounts that Fonts can be set.



Form Templates

Basic Customisation

  1. Go to List > Templates
  2. For the Template to update, double-click or right-click and Edit Template
  3. See the section for 'Change Font for'
  4. Select a Label field then click on Change Font.

It is important to Change Font on each Label.


Layout Designer

  1. In the Templates window, click on Layout Designer
  2. Double-click on any field to view the Properties
  3. From the Properties window, click on Font





Reports

Report Preferences

  1. Go to Edit > Preferences > Reports & Graphs > Company Preferences
  2. Click on Format


  1. On the Report Format Preferences, select the Fonts & Numbers tab
  2. Select a Label field then click on Change Font


Memorised Report

  1. Go to Reports > Memorised Reports
  2. When the report is open, click on Modify Report
  3. Click on Fonts & Numbers tab
  4. Select a Label field then click on Change Font



Printer Setup

The following is only applicable to the Form Name(s):

Fonts

Fonts and Title

Fonts and Address

  1. Cheque/Pay Cheque
  2. Deposits
  3. Details from Centres
  4. Graphs
  5. Label
  6. Remittance Advices
  7. Timesheet

  • List/Register/Notes
  • Online


The settings can be changed by:

  1. Go to File > Printer setup
  2. Click on the Fonts tab then, click on the Fonts button



Reckon Financial Statement Designer (RFSD)

  1. Go to Reports > Reckon Financial Statement Designer
  2. Provided that the settings has been initialised, open any of the reports or templates to go to the Report Designer.
  3. Select the Cell and note the Font selection and style.



Letter Templates

Letter Templates cannot be customised in the Reckon Accounts Hosted environment. The templates would have to be downloaded, customised locally, then re-upload back to Hosted.

Download the template document

  1. Click on the Download files button from the Floating Toolbar
  2. Navigate to the Reckon Accounts Letter Templates folder that is present on the same location as your Company file.
  3. Select the folder based on the type to view the Document files (*.doc)
  4. Select the document to download and follow the prompts to save it locally.


Update the template document

  1. Open the downloaded Document file in Microsoft Word
  2. Select the portion to modify and note the Font selection and style.
