Open Sample File option is missing from the Reckon File Menu list

Why don’t I have an option in the File Menu for Open Sample File?

You will not have this Menu option when Reckon was not properly installed.

Workaround

Uninstall and re-install Quicken in Selective Startup mode using the built-in Administrator account of this PC.
