Navigating folders and visualisations

Browse Menu

Click on the Browse menu to view the top-level folders available.

Folders

The Folders section has three entries:

Shared Folders.
Your personal folder, which holds your visualisations and folders if you have a Creator licence.
All Folders, which holds folders to which you have access, including other personal folders that have been shared with you.

Shared Folders

Click on Shared Folders to see the folders that have been made accessible. Folders are where visualisations are stored. There will be an Insights folder, and there may be a company folder that has been shared with you.

The left panel also shows the top-level folders that you have access to view, once you have navigated away from the Home page.

Insights folder and visualisations

The Insights folder contains all the available default visualisations, divided into a few main categories:

Each of these main categories has folders for the types of visualisations available.

Any top level dashboards for the category are available to immediately select, or click on a folder for a visualisation type, e.g.: Reports.

Then select which visualisation to view, e.g.: Aged Creditor Summary. Fill any required filters, e.g. Book, then click the Run button in the title-bar to run the visualisation.

Use the folder drop-down above the visualisation title to navigate to other visualisations in the same folder, or back up to the parent folder.

Once back at the folder level, click on the folder links at the top to move back up through the folder structure.

You can also use the side menu to access the same top-level folders as the Browse menu, e.g.: Shared.

Company Folders

Your company folder is found under Shared Folders, along with the Insights folder. Users within your company, with the appropriate rights, can save and share content into here.

Accessing content through built in shortcuts

There are ways to gain quick access to content without having to navigate down through folders. The Browse menu has several entries at the top for this purpose. These same entries can also be found at the top of the sidebar, which may be displayed when browsing the folder structure.

Home

This takes you to your Reckon Insights homepage.

Favourites

Visualisations you have set as favourites will all be grouped together here. Simply clicking on the heart wherever it is displayed will set a visualisation as a favourite, and have it show under this shortcut. Click again to unset your favouritism.
