Reckon Accounts Personal Range: Runtime 1517 Error

Question

When I try to download the latest share prices, I get an error "runtime 1517".

Answer

  1. Click on the "Online" menu, select "Internet Connection" then select "Setup"
  2. Select "I have a Direct Connection to the Internet"
  3. Click on the "Next" button to continue with the Wizard.
  4. When asked for your proxy settings, you must enter in the details from your Internet Service Provider.
    If you do not know these, you should contact your Internet Service Provider for the settings.
  5. Continue with the Wizard until it has finished.
  6. Attempt to download Share Prices again.
