Able to delete some transactions when permissions should not allow it

Legacy KB ID: 1091

Question

Why am I able to delete certain transactions when my permissions should not allow me to change or delete transactions?

Answer

Regardless of permissions levels, you can always change or delete any transaction you entered during your current Reckon Accounts session. For example, if you have permission to create new transactions in sales and accounts receivable, you can delete an invoice if you realise you entered it incorrectly.

Note: The permission to disallow changes or deletions applies to transactions entered by other people during your current session and to all transactions entered in previous sessions. For example, if you do not have permission to change or delete, you cannot delete an incorrect invoice entered last week, even if you entered it yourself.
