Some Items do not display on the Purchases by Item Summary Report

Question

Why don’t some items display on the Purchases by Item summary Report?  They do appear on the Purchases by Item Detail Report.

Answer

Edit the Report to display Active items

The Issue

This issue will present itself over zero dollar priced items.  The Purchases by Item Summary Report is configured not to show zero dollar items.

Workaround

On the Purchases by Item Summary Report:

1.    Click on Modify Report

2.    In the bottom right, click on Advanced button;

3.    In the Display rows box, select Active;

4.    Click OK and OK.

You should now see your zero-dollar items.
