When using the To Do Notes filter or column on a "to do notes" report, why do I receive the following error message?
QBW32 caused an IPF in module qbwin32.dll.

Answer
QuickBooks limits the number of characters allowed in a To Do note. If you have exceeded the limit, you will receive an error message when using the filter or column on a report.
If you use the To Do Notes column on a report, limit To Do notes to 211 characters.
If you use the To Do Notes filter on a report, limit To Do notes to 340 characters
