'Invalid credentials. Check your account name and password' when logging into in Reckon Accounts Hosted

Problem

I have recently reset my password and received it by email. I can login and access the control panel. However, when I when I click on Launch Accounts Hosted 20XX R2, I get a white screen displaying ‘Invalid credentials. Check your account name and password.’.

Solution

This is triggered by copying the password from an email or a document and pasting it into the password area on the Reckon Accounts Hosted login page (or entering a space at the end of the password when typing it in).

Workaround

Type the password instead of using your computer’s copy-paste functionality.
