Question

I exported my custom form to another company, but my logo wasn't copied over. How do I get my logo into the exported form?

Answer

When you export a form template, logos are not copied along with the export (.DES) file. You need to copy the logo (.BMP) file separately and load it into the template of the other company.

To copy a logo file from a company's template:

  1. From the Lists menu, choose Templates.
  2. Select the template that contains your logo .
  3. Click the Templates menu button, and choose Edit.
  4. Click the Options tab, and click Specify (under the Use Logo field).
  5. From the Invoice Logo window, click File.
  6. The location of the logo appears in the upper left corner of the Open Logo window.
Note the location and cancel out of the template windows.

To use the logo file in another company's template:

  1. From the Lists menu, choose Templates
  2. Select the template to which you want to add a logo
  3. Click the Templates menu button, and choose Edit
  4. Click the Options tab, and select Use Logo
  5. From the Invoice Logo window, click File
  6. Locate and select the logo (.BMP) file
  7. Click OK.
